Is it a spar or is it a spa? (Batam)

So, on my short getaway I went to Eska Spa at Kepri Mall, Batam. I went for the Hair Spa + Foot Reflexology package. And despite the insane long wait even after we have booked an appointment, i have to say the spa was pretty good.

Overall, I would rate this place 3/5.

The foot reflexology was as painful as it was eye-opening. I didn’t realize how much air I was keeping inside my body and as I suspected, the culprits were the upper half of my body. And my body has this habit of unconsciously tensing up. He even told me that I should drink a lot more water. I’m terribly guilty of it, so making it longer for my body to recover.

So, some tips for myself and whoever is reading this ^^ :

DRINK MORE WATER!!!!

The vein beside/below your toe is connected to your shoulders. So, massage that area until it is no longer painful to release the tension there.

The vein near ur pinky is connected to your oblique area, so probably inclusive of kidneys and all. Massage that area to reduce the tension there.

The veins right below your ankle (in the shape of a V right the at back of your feet) is your back. This was real painful for me.

The veins at the base/soles of ur feet is connected to your upper body in general. The most detested part for me cause I always have a lot of air in that area.

The vein nearer to the inner side of your calves connects to the stomach. Just massage it up and down if u have cramps and when you are feeling bloated. Definitely will try this out!

It isn’t everyday that you have 2 people attending to you simultaneously, one massaging your feet and one massaging or hair. It makes you feel good and I guess this is probably why spas are attractive. I feel attractive already 😉
