Day 5, Sun
We overestimated ourselves – thought that we would have the energy to visit Chatuchak Market the morning after Summer Sonic Day 1. Nope.
Finally saw Butterbear in real life! @ EmSphere
Meeting Nong Noey was on our must-do list. We were unsuccessful with the meet and greet tickets, which sold out in like a minute. Still, we got to see Butterbear up close, even though we arrived only half an hour before its arrival.
Whoever’s in that costume deserves a medal—Butterbear kept dancing, greeting fans, accepting gifts, and taking pictures with cute antics without missing a beat for the whole 1.5-hour meet and greet. The interactions felt genuine and two-way. Fangirl heart fulfilled—it was adorable to finally see Butterbear in person and not just on TikTok!
Summer Sonic Bangkok (Day 2)
The music was great, but I was too tired to stay for the headliner (even though I really wanted to!). Got back at 10pm, and GrabFood order that was just 200 meters away.
Another really cool music festival in Thailand is Rolling Loud! Get your early bird tickets now cause any music festival in Thailand is worth it.
